30 minutes

Ingredients
12 Medjool dates
1/3 cup peanut butter or nut butter of your choice
1/4 cup chopped nuts of your choice
4 ounces chocolate chips of your choice
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Flaky sea salt for garnish
Directions
-
Line a small baking dish or tray with parchment paper.
 -
Using a small, sharp knife, carefully slice each date lengthwise and remove the pits.
 -
Place sliced dates closely together on the parchment-lined tray. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin to flatten them into an even layer.
 -
Spread the nut butter evenly over the flattened dates, then sprinkle with chopped nuts.
 -
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round until smooth.
 -
Pour the melted chocolate over the dates, spreading it evenly to coat the top. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
 -
Place the pan in the fridge for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
 -
Once firm, remove from the pan and slice into bars. Enjoy!
